Exploring Ireland

Travellng to Ireland in February is a bit unusual as tourist attractions close down early or don't bother opening at all. However, the weather never drops below minus two, line-ups are short and you most likely don't need a reservation to visit the Brazenhead, Dublin's oldest bar. Exploring Ireland on its off-season provides you with a sense of what it is like to live there as a local. What better way to experience a place afterall?

This is a short travel video blog exploring the main sites to see in Ireland's most popular destinations. I chose to leave out Dublin, because it is the most well-known but also because the Irish countryside is a better option for exploring instead of the city, in my opinion. Dublin seems to be a starting point to the other destinations, that can be easily accessed by train or rental car, but also by several great touring services, my favourite of which is called Paddywagon Tours. The guides are hilarious, knowledgable and very friendly.

The videos below are designed for the adventurer curious about Blarney, Cobh and Cork, and the historical Belfast.
